When To Tell Them You Love Them

Slow as a lazy river
Fast as a shiver
                      (but not yet)

And I can't seem to
keep up.

The everchanging tempos
of past and future
wind around me-

us- creating
WARM winds with
BUTTERFLIES flying everywhere
and this HAZE
that never quite goes away.

'Cause I mean it with
every unescaping syllable
                      (but not yet)

and I'm happy
